Content Relationships

Week of:
March 26, 2023

The Content section helps you organize your recorded audio files for your radio station. You can see details about each file on the Content Details Page, and control how they are played back with other audio files using the Relationships tab. Some helpful tips are below to get you started.

Voice:

If you tag your recorded audio files as "Female" or "Male" (or with a DJ's name), you can group together files with the same voice. This makes it easier to find and play them back within your radio station programming when using a Voice oriented Smart Folder.

Context Name:

This value is a relationship identifier used to indicate what "type" of area Content is targeted for playback. For example, if you have several "Rock" stations, you can use the "Rock" format to group together similar content that should be played on those stations.

Context Id:

Similar to Context Name, but one level lower, the Context Id indicates what "specific" area Content is targeted for playback.Instead of using a broad label like "Rock" to group your recorded audio files, you can use a more specific label like "SHF Long Live Rock" or "KSHF" to target a specific station. This allows for more precise targeting of your content to the right station.

Track, Artist and Album Relationships:

You can associate your recorded audio files with a specific track, artist, or album by dragging and dropping the corresponding music into the relevant section within the user interface.
